Questions clients ask
Can a game be exclusive to our platform?
Yes, that is what we make for operators. Engine.io lets a game be released to selected operators only, with Stake left out, so your game goes to your platform and nowhere else. That choice is fixed once the game is approved, so it is settled before submission.
Can we add your released games to our casino?
No. Every Energi game released so far launched Only on Stake, and under Engine.io’s rules a game launched that way cannot move anywhere else. A game for your platform has to be a new one.
Can you reskin one of your games for us?
No. Engine.io does not allow a reskin or copy of an Only on Stake title to be released elsewhere, so every game we make for a client is a different game.
Does our casino need to be on Engine.io?
Yes, for an exclusive. Engine.io hosts and serves the game, so your casino needs an Engine.io integration, which you apply for with Engine.io directly. You are welcome to talk to us before you have applied.
What do we get with a game of our own?
A new slot made by us and published under your own name on Engine.io. Engine.io hosts it and handles the distribution and the payouts, and you choose where it launches: on Stake, on selected casinos or across the network. You do not need a casino or a studio.
Is Engine.io the same as Stake Engine?
Yes. Stake Engine was renamed Engine in September 2026 and now lives at engine.io. It is the platform behind the games on Stake.com, and since October 2026 it serves other casinos too.
How are your games rated?
Every Energi game released so far is rated three stars by Stake’s reviewers, the top grade they give.
